NFL Draft separated fact from predraft fiction

With a hint of glee, John Spanos spoke a few years ago of the stealthy game the San Diego Chargers played off the field every year.

Part of “Draft Night” fun is seeing plausible, much-reported scenarios go poof.

As the recent draft begins to recede, let’s revisit a few of the false narratives that held firm for several weeks, only to vanish.
