Najee Harris suffered an eye injury during a firework mishap on the Fourth of July that landed him on the PUP list during training camp. Ever since then, LA Chargers fans have been worried about whether or not Harris would be ready by Week 1.
Harris' agent initially said it was a superficial eye injury that would not impact his status for the 2025 season. However, Jim Harbaugh didn't sell fans on the idea of Harris returning when asked about his status for training camp, and heading into Week 2 of the preseason, he still is yet to practice.
