Melvin Gordon's evolution gets boost from Chargers coach Anthony Lynn

After a disappointing rookie season in which he did not score a touchdown, Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon came back with a vengeance in his second season.

The Wisconsin product finished three yards short of 1,000 yards in his second season. He was No. 10 in the NFL with 1,416 yards from scrimmage, and also had 12 total touchdowns.

Gordon missed the final three games of the season with a hip strain and sprained left knee.
