Chargers coach Mike McCoy declined to say Monday if his bosses have talked to him about his future with the organization.
McCoy, who is under contract through 2017, said he wants to return but is focused on next Sunday’s game at Charlotte against the Panthers.
The Chargers (5-7) are last in the AFC West and on track to miss the playoffs for the third year in a row.
McCoy, whose team lost to the Tampa Bay Bucs, 28-21, at home Sunday, acknowledged Monday that the Chargers are losing the ball too often.
