From the days of ‘Air’ Coryell to LaDianian Tomlinson’s record-breaking 2006 season, fans of the team have been treated to a ton of yards being piled up and plenty of points posted on the scoreboard.
In today’s sports climate, fans often like to help fuel sports debates by creating a Mount Rushmore of a certain sport. Of course, it was Gutzom Borglum who created the idea of sculpting the faces of four former U.S. presidents into a mountain in South Dakota.
Those four presidents — George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt were chosen to represent the birth, growth, development and preservation of the United States.
