The Los Angeles Chargers pulled off a highway robbery and the main guilty suspect is none other than Chargers general manager, Tom Telesco. Telesco flipped former Pro Bowl tackle Russell Okung to the Carolina Panthers for Pro Bowl guard, Trai Turner.
On the surface, this might seem like a mere offensive line swap where both teams got Pro Bowl players in return. That is not at all the case.
The Chargers received a guard who has been a a Pro Bowler in each of the last five seasons, has two more seasons under contract and is only 26 years old.
