Following his return to the team earlier this week, Los Angeles Chargers star running back Melvin Gordon has officially been activated. The team has also promoted wide receiver Andre Patton from the practice squad. To make room for those additions, they have waived defensive end Chris Peace and cornerback Dontate Johnson. All four moves were announced via Twitter by the franchise’s official account:

The Gordon activation was a given, especially with news coming out this morning that the failed holdout would likely see playing time tomorrow against the Miami Dolphins.
