DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO — San Diego leaders say they're open to any local stadium solution the Chargers propose, but they stopped short of saying they would consider increasing the public contribution they've promised beyond $350 million.

"We're not going to throw water on any proposal," said City Attorney Jan Goldsmith, who was joined Wednesday morning at a City Hall press conference by Mayor Kevin Faulconer and county Supervisor Ron Roberts.
