The NFL preseason is not going to be four weeks this season. It was reported on Wednesday that the league would be cutting the first and fourth week of the preseason this year and that teams would only be playing two games each.
This news did come out of relatively thin air as the NFL has been putting on a good front of acting like the 2020 season will be unaffected by the coronavirus pandemic. However, it is not all that shocking that this decision was made, especially because the fourth preseason game is viewed as rather pointless.
