Justin Herbert and most other starters, presumably, won't play in the LA Chargers' season finale against the Denver Broncos. The only thing on the line for the Bolts is wild-card seeding, which isn't worth the risk of a star player getting hurt.
Keenan Allen may think differently, though. The veteran wideout is one of the most important players on offense and would benefit from a week off before the NFL Playoffs. However, if he plays on Sunday, he could earn quite a pay raise from the Chargers.
Allen's one-year deal with the Chargers was full of incentives, several of which he is right on the cusp of obtaining.
