While his 4,336 passing yards fell just short of the rookie record held by Andrew Luck (4,374), the Oregon alum did set new marks for passing touchdowns (31), total touchdowns (36), most 300-yard passing games (8), and most games with at least three touchdown passes (6).
To set ridiculous records like that, of course, one has to throw (and obviously complete) a lot of passes, which is why Herbert also set the rookie record for completions, racking up 396.
