Anyone who watched the team get manhandled in the trenches on both sides of the ball by the New England Patriots last year would agree. The team couldn’t slow down Sony Michel, but right tackle Sam Tevi was reduced to a turnstile.
One popular thought was that the team would target a new right tackle in the first round of the draft. I certainly did when I put together my final mock draft.
Instead, Tom Telesco felt that Jerry Tillery was the right pick at that spot and it’s quite difficult to argue that he wasn’t.
