I’m going to start this out by saying this rumor is COMPLETELY he-said, she-said, but in times likes these without the normal news, nothing is should be overlooked for content. So here it goes.
One of my colleagues here at SB Nation is an alumni of Arizona State University. He still has friends from college that currently work within the ASU media and they were recently in attendance for head football coach Herm Edwards’ weekly press conference that he is now hosting on the video platform Zoom. During the call, apparently the topic of Cam Newton/Chargers came up and Edwards said he “heard” Newton was signing with the Chargers.
