Easton Stick's tenure with the LA Chargers lasted much longer than expected. The 2019 fifth-round pick lasted six seasons with the Chargers despite being a third-string quarterback for most of his tenure. Now with the Atlanta Falcons, Stick is proving why the Chargers wanted to keep him around in the locker room so long.
Stick never had the makings of being a true backup quarterback and he would remind fans of that every time he played in the preseason. It was locked in stone in 2023 when Stick got an extended chance to start after Justin Herbert suffered a season-ending finger injury.
