Dan Fouts says he’s not ready to leave the broadcast booth

After not being retained by CBS as an NFL analyst, Dan Fouts says he has no plans to retire as a broadcaster.

“I do want to continue, yes,” said Fouts, a Pro Football Hall of Famer who quarterbacked the San Diego Chargers for 15 years.

Fouts, who turns 69 in June, has worked as an analyst for CBS and ABC for nearly 30 years. He worked at CBS for six years beginning in 1987, later moved to ABC for 11 years (where his run included a stint on “Monday Night Football” with Al Michaels and Dennis Miller, as well as college games with Keith Jackson), then returned to CBS for the last decade.
