The Los Angeles Rams are riding a wave.
And a fair number of San Diegans are watching.
In San Diego County the recent Rams telecasts on Fox5 drew good ratings, of 13.3 and 14.8, for the defending NFC champions’ first and second games of the regular season, respectively.
No other NFL games were aired at those times, which put the Rams telecasts in an enviable position.
The Chargers are commanding a sizable viewership, too, with ratings of 15.0 and 15.7 on CBS affiliate KFMB in Weeks 1 and 2.
Those telecasts faced competition from other NFL games, a key difference.
