Chargers: What went right, what went wrong in home opener

The Chargers had only one won regular season opener under general manager Tom Telesco, but they finally broke the streak of losing with an overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts.

A 27-24 victory is about what many would have predicted the outcome of the game to be, but this was unnecessarily close for a Chargers team that was one bad interception away from burying the Colts in the third quarter. A game between two playoff contenders should come down to the wire,
