According to the team, Chargers tight end Asante Cleveland has been waived/injured.

The undrafted free agent out of Miami (FL) was a member of the Chargers for two years, playing in four games last season. He had previous stints with the New England Patriots (2015) and San Francisco 49ers (2014).

The Chargers now have five tight ends on the roster: Antonio Gates, Hunter Henry, Jeff Cumberland, Sean McGrath and Sean Culkin. Henry and Cumberland are both reportedly having great camps thus far.

Henry, who led the team with eight touchdowns last year, will look to supplant Gates as the team’s No.
