The Chargers open the 2019 season at home against the Indianapolis Colts. Up until two weeks ago, this looked like one of the more difficult games on the entire schedule for the Chargers and one that many would have picked against them in.
That’s because up until their franchise quarterback, Andrew Luck, decided to call it quits on his career, the Colts were a trendy Super Bowl pick. Instead of Luck, the Chargers will now see Jacoby Brissett in at quarterback and that changes things dramatically.
