CARSON, Calif. -- For a second straight season, the Los Angeles Chargers have failed to find stability at the kicking position.
And for a second year in a row, that instability could cost the Chargers a chance to make the postseason.
Caleb Sturgis won the kicker job over Roberto Aguayo in training camp, but through four games, Sturgis has missed two field goals -- from 48 and 54 yards -- and two extra points. Three of those missed kicks came during Sunday's narrow 29-27 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
