The Los Angeles Chargers featured some of their actual key starters this evening against the Seattle Seahawks in Carson, CA, and the results were definitely positive. Philip Rivers saw his first action of the preseason and completed 6 of 7 passes for 62 yards during the 1st quarter of play while feature back Melvin Gordon rushed for 35 yards and a score on 10 attempts.
The defense saw a bit of a rough start as they allowed a 60-yard opening drive that was kicked off by a 29-yard strike from Russell Wilson to former Arizona Cardinal Jaron Brown, though they were forced to settle for a field goal attempt that Jason Myers converted from 33 yards out.
