The Los Angeles Chargers star rookie defensive back, Derwin James, has announced via his Instagram account that he intends to wear the name “James Jr.” on the back of his jersey for next season. The Athletic’s Chargers beat writer, Sam Fortier, had that news via Twitter this morning:

James, who fell to the Chargers in the middle of the first round of last year’s NFL Draft, was one of the key players in one of the league’s better defenses.
