  • The Los Angeles Chargers have released LG Orlando Franklin. The 29-year old signed a free agent deal with the Chargers in 2015 after being drafted by the Broncos in 2011 and spending four seasons in Denver.
  • Franklin began his career playing right tackle in Denver before switching to left guard in 2014. He was one of the better guards in the NFL that season, finishing second in PFF’s Pass Blocking Efficiency, having allowed only one sack and 11 total QB pressures.
  • Franklin’s career took a downturn after signing with the Chargers in 2015, missing six games that season with various injuries.
