Training camp is about to get underway for the LA Chargers and the team is doing its part in beefing up the roster. Before the pads get on and the players start running drills, the Chargers front office did its part to add offensive line depth.
The Chargers signed offensive tackle Ryan Nelson on Wednesday after he worked out with the team on Monday. Nelson clearly impressed the Chargers enough to get a training camp spot, which he now hopes to parlay into a practice squad spot.
Nelson is coming off an excellent season for the Michigan Panthers of the UFL.
