On Saturday afternoon, the Chargers announced that they are placing starting linebacker Kyzir White on the reserve-COVID-19 list ahead of Sunday’s game against the Jets.
White has started every game but one at the team’s weakside (WILL) linebacker position following the injury to Drue Tranquill in Week 1.
The Bolts also promoted a trio of players from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Sunday. The first two are linebackers B.J. Bello and Cole Christiansen. Anthony Lynn said on Friday that those two would be promoted to play special teams after that unit struggled against Miami in Week 10.
