Khalil Mack wasted no time doing what he always does against the Las Vegas Raiders: record a consequential sack on a key down. However, later in the first quarter, the LA Chargers pass rusher suffered an injury that made every fans' heart drop.
On the last play of the first quarter, Mack chased wide receiver Tre Tucker near the sideline on a first-down run. In his pursuit, Mack collided with teammate Troy Dye, who hit his outstretched arm as he fell to the ground.
Mack instantly ran off the field holding his wrist in place. Chargers personnel on the sideline quickly rushed him into the blue-medical tent.
