The entire 2018 Draft Class for the Los Angeles Chargers are now under contract.
Derwin James signed his 4 year contract, which includes a 5th year team option since he was a 1st round pick.
This is good news. Yes the current CBA makes these contracts a little easier, but as we saw with Joey Bosa’s signing, these aren’t done deals.
With the business end wrapped up, Derwin can now focus on learning the playbook and jus playing football. He will have a decent sized learning curve as he won’t be playing your standard safety position.
