Easton Stick got to start his first preseason game of his young career and payed the coaching staff back with a sensational touchdown to rookie wideout Josh Palmer. However, the 49ers’ Trey Lance put together his own notable performance by throwing a pair of touchdowns en route to downing the Bolts by a score of 15-10 at SoFi Stadium.
Stick completed 10-of-14 passes for 85 yards and the aforementioned touchdown. He also led the team with 15 rushing yards on three carries. Larry Rountree had a team-high eight attempts but the reserve offensive line left him no where to run as he averaged a meager 1.
