SAN DIEGO -- The play of Houston Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler should bring no surprises for the San Diego Chargers when they face the AFC South division leaders on the road this Sunday.
Last season, while he was still with the Denver Broncos, the Chargers saw an efficient Osweiler play solid in leading his team to a 17-3 victory at Qualcomm Stadium in early December.
However, four weeks later the Chargers forced the Montana native into three turnovers. That led to Denver head coach Gary Kubiak benching Osweiler in favor of Peyton Manning with the Broncos trailing San Diego 13-7 in the second half of the final regular-season game that would determine home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
