As fans, we naturally claim the fan base we associate with to be the best. Doesn’t matter what any type of information tells us, it’s always going to be the one we root for. On the opposite side of things, the same fan base we hold so dear can, at the same time, be viewed as the worst or most-hated by somebody within another fan base.
For the Chargers, it really could be any of the other three teams in division as each of them give this fan base plenty to loathe. The Chiefs have just been so dang good over the last five years and we’re essentially just sick of seeing that much success come from within the division.
