Let’s start this Hump Day off with a discussion point that many of you probably have already, in some way, tossed around in your head.
Now that we’ve seen how the 2021 draft played out, what pick(s) of the Chargers would you trade out for another player who was also still available following that selection?
For me, I would easily trade out the pick of tight end Tre’ McKitty for Quinn Meinerz, the offensive guard/center out of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He’d have reinforced the interior line and given the Chargers a clear-cut replacement for Oday Aboushi in 2022. But if the Chargers wanted to go the same route with the same process in mind, I would have gone with Boise State’s John Bates.
