In this week’s edition of CBS Sports’ quarterback power rankings by Cody Benjamin, Justin Herbert has moved up one spot to No. 11, inching just a bit closer to the top 10.
Against the lowly Jets, Herbert threw for a career-high 366 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions. It was one of his cleanest games of the year and a positive site to see him rightfully take advantage of the worst defense he’s faced to this point in his young career.
“If you’d have looked at his numbers before the season, you’d have reasonably assumed they belonged to someone like Aaron Rodgers or Deshaun Watson.
