Episode two of HBO’s Hard Knocks premieres tonight and there’s likely going to be plenty to talk about based on some recent events from the last week.
The biggest thing we’re all hoping to see is a spotlight on the recent mystery surrounding Melvin Ingram and why he’s choosing to sit out practices while healthy and present inside the facility.
He’s in the final year of his contract and none of his $14 million base salary is guaranteed this season, so I’m sure this is not so much a “hold-in” for a new contract as much as it is a method to get some form of cash in pocket before the season begins.
