Chargers can't ignore the bat signal that the Commanders just projected

The Los Angeles Chargers have somehow stayed afloat during the 2025 NFL season despite injuries trying to derail them at every turn. The offensive line, in particular, has been decimated by ailments, most notably to Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt, who hurt his ankle again in Week 9.

Los Angeles gave up three sacks and 15 pressures on quarterback Justin Herbert against the Jeffery Simmons-less Tennessee Titans on Sunday, and they'll have to keep him cleaner than that if they want to make a serious run in the AFC.

With so many injuries up front, depth and versatility are the obvious names of the game for Jim Harbaugh's group.
