SAN DIEGO -- According to his agent, Ken Sarnoff, the San Diego Chargers will sign receiver Vincent Brown to the active roster.
Brown participated in a workout at Chargers Park on Tuesday. The team has not confirmed the report.
A third-round selection by the Chargers in 2011, Brown was a surprise release during final roster cuts in 2014.
Brown suffered a calf strain on the second day of training camp, but was expected to return to the field early in the regular season. However, the Chargers waived Brown during final roster cuts at the end of August.
