Chargers and Rams execs meeting to discuss Inglewood stadium proposal

Scott Reid of the Orange County Register reports that San Diego Chargers chairman Dean Spanos is scheduled to meet with Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke to discuss a potential partnership on the Inglewood stadium project. It’s the first substantive talks between the two regarding Inglewood.

My take: Reid offers a pretty good breakdown on the two options Spanos has in Inglewood, either as an equity partner or a tenant. He’ll have to weigh the pros and cons of each offer, comparing them to what’s available in San Diego.

Aaron Steckelberg of the San Diego Union-Tribune published this poll in partnership with ABC Channel 10 in San Diego asking if voters locally would support spending $350 million in public money to build a new stadium.
