On Saturday afternoon, the Chargers announced a slew of roster transactions ahead of Sunday’s contest against the Broncos.
First, the team activated running back Troymaine Pope and center/guard Cole Toner to the active roster from the practice squad. Secondly the team activated offensive tackle Trey Pipkins from the reserve-COVID-19 list and wide receiver Jason Moore was also promoted from the practice squad.
The Chargers’ final move was signing tight end Matt Sokol to the practice squad following the injury to Virgil Green this past Sunday.
