BREAKING: Steelers trade WR Antonio Brown to the Raiders

Late last night, news finally broke that would put an end to all the speculation and drama that has surrounded wide receiver Antonio Brown and his next landing spot following his vocal displeasure of the Steelers organization.

It was announced that Brown would be traded to the Oakland Raiders for a third and a fifth-round pick in this year’s NFL Draft. His new contract is set at 3 years/$50.125 million with 30.125 million guaranteed.

With those numbers, Brown is now the highest-paid wide receiver in the league. Unfortunately for other team who will soon be looking to retain their top pass-catchers, this may throw a giant wrench into any current plans.
