Former San Diego Chargers center Nick Hardwick has a good read this morning, asking whether San Diego is truly committed to running the football.
With the return of offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt, the expectation is the Chargers will return to a more balanced attack. And as Hardwick notes, we have seen that on the field during offseason work, with quarterback Philip Rivers working under center more than in the past.
The addition of a fullback also seems to point to San Diego running the football more.
