Early poll has Keenan Allen as San Diego Chargers #1 receiver

In today's Chargers news update, the on-field competition between Keenan Allen and the returning Malcom Floyd has leaked over into cyberspace.

Peter Thompson of FanSided.com posted a poll early on Sunday morning, imploring San Diego Chargers to vote for either Floyd or Allen as the team's #1 receiver.

The current results are a relative landslide in Allen's favor. Keenen Allen currently holds 66% of the vote, with Floyd landing just 34% as of this writing.

Thompson believes that the debate might be moot in the end: "All I know, is that on day one, I don’t care who the starting receiver is. I just know that there are two #1 receivers, and it’s #3 from there. Who knows who will perform at a higher level? It will be interesting to see if youth shines, or if experience prevails."

It's always fun to debate, however. Be sure to cast your votes, Bolts faithful!
