Not the Angels news we were expecting this offseason.
On Saturday, Victor Rojas tweeted that he won’t be returning to the Angels broadcast booth in 2021. Rojas has been the play-by-play announcer for the Angels for the past 11 years.
In his lengthy tweet, Rojas said that he wanted to spend more time with his family in Texas, as he awaits the birth of his first grandchild. In addition, he also wants to work on building his apparel business, a web-based clothing company. Big Fly, the name of his company, has been run with his wife Kim and their children since early 2019.
