MILWAUKEE -- Matt Harvey is staying with the Reds. A trade with the Brewers was not worked out on Friday, Cincinnati general manager Nick Krall said.
The Brewers were the team that claimed Harvey on revocable trade waivers this week and were talking trade with the Reds, MLB Network insider Jon Heyman reported. The sides had until 12:30 p.m. CT to make a deal, according to Heyman.
