The MVP results for both leagues were released on Thursday, and unfortunately an Angels player didn’t win. However, they did have three players who received votes. Mike Trout, Anthony Rendon and David Fletcher were three of the 22 different players who received votes.
We’ll start with Trout, who finished in fifth place.... which is the worst of his career. Imagine playing in your ninth season and fifth is the worst you’ve ever finished? Pretty good I’d say. In a season so short, every game counted. Although Trout missed only seven games, that equals 12 percent of the season.
