Scott Servais, the Angels director of player development, said pitcher Chris Ellis has been one of the most impressive players in the minor league system this year. Ellis, shown when he was at Inland Empire, has been promoted to Double-A. He has a 3.50 ERA this season, including 2.12 in his first three starts at Arkansas.
