Not the way he wanted to, though.
Gentry, a productive fourth outfielder for most of his career, endured a 2015 that saw him spend most of the season in Triple-A.
“It’s mentally a grind,” said Gentry, trying to rebound with the Angels. “If you can get through that, you can pretty much get through anything. I’m just trying to take the positives away from it, but it wasn’t the easiest road.”
