Defensively, Jim Edmonds is one of the greatest center fielders in MLB history. He won eight Gold Gloves and made a number of highlight reel catches. He spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Angels. Today, we’ll be looking back at his 1998 season, his second to last year in Anaheim.

From a pure hitting standpoint, it was the best season of Edmunds’ career.
