Miller: No, Mike Scioscia doesn't deserve all the blame, but yes, it's time Angels made a change

ANAHEIM – The White Sox have a new manager, the Rockies need a new manager and the Diamondbacks need a new manager and more.

During a 24-hour stretch in which there were no baseball games, there was plenty of baseball news by the end of Monday afternoon.

Meanwhile, in an empty and quiet Angel Stadium, Billy Eppler said, “Mike Scioscia will be our manager next season,” a pronouncement newsy only in that it wasn’t news at all.

Yet, to some frustrated Angels fans, it might have been notable that no one stormed the stadium gates swinging Rally Monkeys over their heads and demanding change.
