Our quest to remember every Mike Trout home run, one game at a time, brings us to 2014 for the second day in a row. This time, we are in Anaheim on July 20, 2014, the finale of a weekend series against the Mariners just after the All-Star break.
Trout’s home run came in the third inning against Tall Chris Young, and tied the game at 3-3. It was the second blast of back-to-back shots, following Kole Calhoun.
The home run was Trout’s 23rd of the season, and the 85th of his career.
