Today’s Mike Trout home run was his final one hit in 2016, the second of his three American League MVP seasons.
The Angels hosted the A’s on September 26, the start of the final homestand of the year. Trout was busy all game, including a single in the first innings.
He opened the scoring to start the fourth, a home run to left field against Sean Manaea, just to the right of the bullpens:
