Mike Trout has been an amazing talent ever since he arrived in Anaheim in 2011. Although his July and August call-ups in 2011 weren’t spectacular many could already see how talented Trout was.
On April 28, 2012 Mike Trout was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake City the Angels were struggling and new free agent signee Albert Pujols was in the midst of his worst start of his career. Trout got to work right away garnering back-to-back AL Rookie of the Month Awards in May and June of 2012 and also player of the week honors on June 11, 2012 for the previous week’s exploits.
